HoweItGoes-Resurrected

Somehowe... I lost track of my blog.  I forgot to blog.  I forgot the name of the blog.  I almost forgot I ever had a blog.  Until..  I began thinking about blogging.  And wondered if my old blog still existed.  Then I went looking, and looking, and looking.

And HOORAY!  I found it.  154 blog posts!  I'm glad to revisit my life in my blog posts from 2008-2015.

I kept pretty busy for being out in the boondocks of  WYOMING.  I learned a lot.  I made some very good friends.  It was their friendship that kept me afloat.  That, and the visits from my children.  I don't think I would otherwise have survived the "ordeal."  I like that word.  I think I am going to use it now whenever I reference WYOMING.

So..... In the 7 years I was dead silent, what in the world was I thinking, doing? Well the sad truth is:

In, and during most of, 2015 we tried to move to California.  No such luck. In the course of being sued, I did make a new friend, Dawn, who I love! In 2016 I got a job at the Lovell Library. Grover got dentures in Mexico.  I dealt with difficult personal and family issues. In 2017 I was fired from the Lovell Library and Grover suffered a heart attack, and fortunately, survived. In 2018, thankfully, we moved to Utah.  Shortly thereafter Grover suffered a stroke, and, fortunately, survived. The last 3 years have been focused on recovery and medical issues, the pandemic, etc.

No wonder I haven't been writing!!! They say "misery loves company" but I disagree. It's too depressing and don't we have enough of that?

So, a brief update.  I got a job as a captioning agent for a company called Caption Call.  I started working from home in April of 2020. So, stuck at home and with more free time, I started to learn about art.  I began with oil painting.  While working I was able to do a lot of  zentangles. Next I played with doing mixed media and altered books.  And now I am trying  watercolor art.

I am beginning to enjoy trying new and different creative activities.

And I miss writing.

So,  I am back from the dead!!!

I hope you will join me and enjoy and comment and share your life with me again.

Howe about it?  👀

To paraphrase a really old, really sexist song, "I will follow you, follow you wherever you may go! There isn't an ocean too deep, a mountain so high it can keep, keep me
a-waAAY!"

Lovely, captivating image. Almost surreal yet nuanced. I really like it.
